Right you are - many a times, like the WP Affiliate Pro plugin for instance, generated more hype than the free alternatives such as aLinks and the Hidden Affiliate Links. People blatantly refused to even try them out before buying the plugin that costed about $50 then.
PS: If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then you don’t read John Chow’s blog I guess!

Its a good idea, starting this free wiki, but you would really need to watch out for spam and honestly, I think you may run into a risk with Google for placing links on a domain with *spam* in its name. But then again, its a highly debated topic as you can’t really control who links to you and such, I’m just saying people may have their own reservations due to the small controversy surrounding it.

Naa I dont think it will get off the ground, I dont have the audience, Wikis seem to throw people a bit. Also you make something free and there is a perception that it has no value…. no-one wants them, like NHS glasses

The name spamiPedia was a joke, and a send up of sites selling links on wiki’s.

thanks for your advice, you are absolutely right about the spam issue, but to be honest its just for fun. It only took a couple of hours to put up so I am not to worried if it falls apart

The handle I use on myBlog is Angrycat, if you google angrycat that image comes up… a cat with an AK47, very angry!!!

I’m putting up some quality information after registering the page “Make Money Investing” but I have a question about including another page of code for example google adsense or amazon.com code…the help page is empty so what’s the format for that?
