I am really late writing this post so many of you may already be participating in the Technorati Link Train started by Mr. Gary Lee…
In short its a kind of chain letter where links and Technorati favourites are exchanged between blogs.
So far I have had around 140 people favourite this blog as a result of the link train and I am struggling to keep up in terms of reciprocating! On that note, if you have fave’d this site already and I have not fave’d you back, sorry, I am working on it!!. If you cant wait that long just post a comment and Ill put you to the top of the list…
Anyway, here’s how it works (copied from Mr. Gary Lee):
***Start Copying Here:***
Here are the rules:
1) Write a short introduction paragraph about what how you found the list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.
- I somehow ended up with a load of links and Technorati faves!
2) COPY the Rules and ENTIRE List below and post it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can accessible for, go ahead and change the titles of the blog. Just don’t change the links of the blog.
3) Take “My New Faves” and move them into the “The Original Faves” list.
4) Add 3 Blogs that you’ve just added to your Technorati Favorites to the “My New Faves” section. Remember to also add the “Fave Me” link next to your new blogs (i.e. http://technorati.com/faves?sub=addfavbtn&add=http://www.yourfavesdomain.com)
5) Add Everyone on this list to your Technorati Favorites List by clicking on “Fave the Site.” (Please FAVE EVERYONE on the List prior to posting the list or a Kitten will Die Alone in a Dark Alley Tonight). Those who want good kharma will fave you back. If not, you will for sure get the benefits of faves from the bloggers who continue this list after you.

Pretty simple, huh? If you missed my first train, then this would be a great opportunity for you to get in on early this time. As DoshDosh.com says, the hope is to increase traffic from being listed as one of the Top 100 Favorites on Technorati and with the help of the link train, you can also increase your rankings at the same time.

Sounds great. But could you describe what is the mission of Technorati Favs, if everyone will follow that spam tip and exchange? It looks like it’s there will be final time to remove ‘add to your Technorati Favorites’ links from our blogs…
Please remove a crap above. I can’t edit, you know.

No, youll have to live with it, we all make mistakes haha
Technorati is used by review me, so there is some small advantage in getting a good rank.
There are also links to your site, but in a page of many links there is no PR to be had…
To be honest I did not even know I had been included in this until I started getting links, so I thought I had better participate!!
Alright, continue exchanges, spread it, and I’m sure soon no one will trust stats from Technorati, including smart guys from ReviewMe.
Well, they do “trust” the stats from Technorati, and the stats from Alexa which are just as unreliable…
Neither Technorati or Alexa get you any traffic, so there is nothing to be gained or lost with either of them…
I don’t care what anyone thinks about this blog anyway, its just for fun….
This favs train is running all over the place!
When it started a few weeks back the bottom blog in the top 100 had about 100 favs, now the bottom blog is right about 141!
I think DoshDosh started this and they have since cracked their way into the top ten!
I dont get that, I have 139 and am at 29k???
Technorati has two ranking systems.
One goes by favorites and the other by links.
hey your turn
